The partner project to the "Built by Suns ~ Signed by Stars Gala & Guitar Auction" being held in Selkirk on May 26th, this on-line portion of the event boasts a number of rare and very cool items including over 20 student built - celebrity signed fully playable electric guitars!
Yes, Ecole Selkirk Junior High students with staff cooperation build fully playable electric guitars! The students and their teachers formed BOSS Guitar Works last spring with the aim of building and auctioning off their guitars. To enhance the value of their guitars the students have approached and been successful in getting their guitars signed by some of the biggest names in rock n' roll, athletics and show business!
There are 50 unique items available including the guitars and ranging from a Tony Hawk signed video game to other signed memorabilia signed by some of Manitoba's greatest professional and Olympic athletes! Also up for grabs will be chances to come to the May 26th event!
Help the students of BOSS Guitar Works do something special - help them to assist in the building of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights!
